Mexico City, November 10 (However).- The new season of Stranger Things It is very close and for all fans of the series it will come Stranger Things: The Experience to Mexico City, to take the fans to Hawkins and face Vecna. Science fiction, mystery and adventure
“Stranger Things: The Experience” has already been in cities like New York, London, Los Angeles, Paris and São Paulo, now it is the turn of the Mexican capital.
During a press conference, Rodrigo Matías, CEO of DCSET, said that this experience is incredible and totally immersive, highlighting that it has technology that is only seen in large theme parks. He added that the experience is made for the fans and they feel very proud to be part of it.
“We are very proud to be able to announce this gift to Mexico of having the exhibition at the same time as the launch of the last season of the series,” said Matías.
What is the experience about?
The experience is set in 1986 and will take the attendees to Hopkins – the same place in the series -, everyone who arrives there suffers from sleep disorders and terrible nightmares, so the Hopkins laboratory invites participants to take part in a study, thus, the volunteers, who are actually the fans, will be part of this experience. They all become citizens of Hopkins and will begin the adventure, they will be tested with challenges. The participants will discover that they have special powers, just like Eleven, and will have to face Vecna.
There will also be an area called Mix Tape with food inspired by the Netflix series, as well as drinks, collectible merchandise, and perfect settings for taking lots of photos. The script adaptation was made for Mexico, Mexican Spanish.
Where, when and how much?
“Stranger Things: The Experience” will take place in Expo Reforma (Av. Morelos 67, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 Mexico City), which will have 2,500 square meters transformed into Hopkins, its laboratories and the Upside Down.
The experience will open its doors on the 13th of December and it will be like this until May 2026. Tickets can be purchased for the general public on November 12 at 10:00 a.m. through Fever, there is already a waiting list (if you want to sign up click here).
Although the exact price of the tickets is not yet known, during the press conference it was mentioned that it will cost 600 pesos, the normal ticket, and 900 pesos for the premium ticket (which gives access to a quick line to enter or at any time you want) plus service charges. The experience lasts approximately one hour, people enter every 30 minutes.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and children under 5 years of age are not permitted to enter.
